In a significant step towards advancing healthcare supply chain management in Kenya, we joined forces with the Kenya Ministry of Health's Division of Health Products and Technologies (DHPT) to select and train a group of exceptional professionals. These individuals have been chosen to participate in the CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply certification program, with the aim of promoting the professionalization of health supply chain personnel. This collaboration is a testament to the commitment of both organizations in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare supply chains in Africa.
At Health Procurement Africa, we firmly believe that a well-trained and certified workforce plays a crucial role in driving positive change and making a lasting impact on healthcare systems. Recognizing the importance of this, we have carefully selected eight outstanding professionals who have demonstrated exceptional skills and dedication in the field of healthcare supply chain management. These individuals will have the privilege of undergoing an intensive training program designed to prepare them for the CIPS certification up to level 4.
The selected professionals are commendable for their dedication and commitment to advancing healthcare procurement and supply chain management in Kenya. By investing in their professional development, we aim to equip them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and confidence to drive transformative change within their respective roles. This program will not only enhance their individual careers but also contribute to the overall improvement of healthcare outcomes in Africa.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Kenya Ministry of Health's Division of Health Products and Technologies (DHPT) for their invaluable partnership and collaboration. Without their vision and commitment to investing in the professional development of their personnel, this initiative would not have been possible. This collaboration highlights the shared goal of both organizations in strengthening the healthcare supply chain sector and ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare services to all.
As we embark on this journey together, Health Procurement Africa remains steadfast in its mission to transform healthcare procurement and supply chains across the continent.
